Halcyon, Sonorous, and Enigmatic

What does halcyon mean?

Halcyon (adjective) – denoting a time in the past that was idyllically happy and peaceful.
Example: She often reminisced about the halcyon days of her childhood summers by the lake.

What does sonorous mean?

Sonorous (adjective) – having a deep, rich, and full sound.
Example: His sonorous voice carried across the auditorium with ease.

What does enigmatic mean?

Enigmatic (adjective) – mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to interpret.
Example: The artist’s enigmatic smile left viewers guessing at the portrait’s true meaning.

📌 Try weaving these words into a short story or poem. Use “halcyon” to set a nostalgic mood, “sonorous” to enhance sound imagery, and “enigmatic” to add mystery.
