Daily Writing Reminder #18: Write About a Forest

Welcome back to the Daily Writing Reminder — your quick nudge to keep the words flowing. Today is the eighteenth reminder!

Writing isn’t about waiting for the big breakthroughs — it’s about showing up and discovering what’s beneath the surface, one word at a time.

Today’s Nudge

Write about a forest.

It could be peaceful and lush, filled with birdsong and sunlight breaking through the canopy — or dark, tangled, and full of mystery.

📌 Describe the sights, sounds, and feelings it evokes. Is the forest a sanctuary, a place of danger, or something in between?

Set a Reminder

Set aside a few minutes today to write about your forest. Whether it’s real, remembered, or imagined, let it come alive on the page.

📌 Lean on your senses: what does the air smell like, what textures surround you, and what emotions rise as you step deeper into the trees?
