Aurora, Petrichor, and Euphony

What does aurora mean?

Aurora (noun) – a natural light display in the sky, especially near the poles; also refers to the dawn of a new day.
Example: The hikers paused to admire the aurora as it painted ribbons of green and purple across the night sky.

What does petrichor mean?

Petrichor (noun) – the pleasant, earthy smell that rises when rain falls on dry soil.
Example: After the storm passed, the petrichor filled the air, bringing a sense of calm renewal.

What does euphony mean?

Euphony (noun) – a sound that is harmonious, pleasing, and beautiful to hear.
Example: The poet’s verses carried a natural euphony that lingered long after the recital ended.
